I think you guys just need to be square with each other about you intentions in the NOW instead of focusing on what you thought they were. Most relationships start with goal of gaining, there’s a reason even if innocent people choose to cross paths but experiences and quality time together can quickly change initial intentions into very strong and deep wanting and connection.
