I mean, I guess so but Seoyoon was a minor while Kangjin was an adult. Plus, Kangjin doted on Seoyoon and Domin bc they were young but had the most important roles in the battle. I wouldn't see them as a ship or couple, even tho they were close, they were more like loyal comrades. Like how Seoyoon is with La Bijina

Kangjin died because he entered the black portal in the great dungeon for some reasons. Also there will be a ptsd on the ending in the novel so don't worry
The four of them were already strong enough to survive but he(kangjin) was becoming op with that copy ability paired with that face and leadership, that he could've been a potential 2nd ML and a threat for the current ML, in which case the author had to nerf him and out of the picture so unfortunately there will not be any jealousy scenes and ptsd to ptsd lovers healing each other after their battle, as I was hoping.... Just imagining him alive with this new updated system paired with his experience he just had the potential to be in his own manhwa(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
