- In the first half why was the ML drawn in a different art style than anyone else he looked like a seme from a 2000’s yaoi - I like stories that has a gradual romance unfurl, whereas the ML goes from intrigued to passionate, undying love within a single chapter, as if a switch were flipped - In the last quarter the characterisation for FL that was been built up just gets thrown out the window, she acts completely differently ABRUPTLY. You don’t hear narration from her perspective anymore, and it’s mystifying because you don’t hear her thoughts and motivations to act and speak the way she does anymore. It almost feels like it was hinting at insanity by the end even though we know the manhwa would never do that. She just act extremely weird and hot-and-cold and she barely felt like a person, much less a character where we can envision ourselves in her shoes. - The story DRAGSSSSS after the kidnapping. There are many points at which the story could’ve ended in a satisfying way, but they kept throwing in short insignificant conflicts in there that absolutely no one cared about just to extend the story. The kidnapping felt like the climax of the story, then the last HALF was the resolution. You spent HALF the story tying up uninteresting loose ends. - FL was extremely unlikeable in the last half due to the hot-and-cold attitude we have no explanation for. ML is unlikeable and overbearing all the way through. - I like how this manhwa does try to humanise characters who have done irredeemable things, I appreciate it, but that doesn’t mean I’ll like them as a character. They are still despicable. - Would’ve loved to have the story give some screen time to the King before redemption because we were essentially told, not shown, his evil in the past. We do not see evil!King interact with our protag, which would’ve actually been interesting.
