We just thought it must be Daita's father and the chapters after that chapter somehow made it true that in chapter 31 it was indeed Daita's father
And I think....Daita and Honeycut just have big age gap
They do. Daita was still a child (perhaps) while Honeycut was acquainted with his father. I don't know their age difference; but Daita was shown to be a small fox during flashbacks with Honeycut and his father.
