... I spent the entire last third of the chapter waiting to see some kind of smirk on the ML's face. I'd love for him to be just a poor lil misunderstood gentle giant, BUT...
Between how he just layed a big ol kiss on the other guy like it's casual af and then comparing MC to his favorite puppy... my best guess is that he's definitely some variant of undead, and possibly sees humans as separate from himself (maybe like pets but not in the cult-y "I'm a god" kind of way).
