Also to add, the side characters being terrified of him is no surprise: a big buff dude with scars, tattoos (fuk knows what that actually is) and stitches all over him, says whatevers on his mind and has no sense for social cues what so ever, also most of them saw him brutally kill at least the "maggots". Hes like a bag of stereotypically "scary" things
Why is everyone sussing him, so far he rll just looks knowledge deprived. Even if hes manipulative or possesive, its more like how a kid acts when they get attached to someone (considering his so far shown emotional intelligence), which isnt healthy, yeah, but not inherently evil either so leave my man alone, ill lend him a shoulder to cry on any day
