    Leon is a complex character who is morally grey. I don't think he was ever supposed to be likable, which makes this story more interesting than the typical story. I'm reading the novel and I actually like the progression with Leon. He's flawed as a character, but eventually he realizes his errors.

    ..can't stand that the FL has to bleed dry Intel then ,him changing won't change the fact he left her for dead ! she should've been dead by then if it wasn't for Oscar, for me his talking to a dead persone now ....

    Yes character development is interesting but once some lines is crossed it's over ..... (like life and death )

    Yeah, he's definitely a darker character, but that is kind of why I like this novel so much. Leon has a lot of darker themes surrounding religion that he has to breakthrough first. Despite being attracted to the FML, he won't let himself prioritize her until a certain event happens in the novel.
