LET ME YAP

If you think about it.... This chapter is truly powerful and it makes me remember that one film called "tomorrow land", it's just need one person to change something as they can act like a whistleblower.

What Anubis and what Yanzi said, both are true. Anubis said that it's in human nature, greed, survival instinct and all. But what Yanzi said is also true, human will eventually seek for warmth and light and he can't change people, he just want to give them the "soil" so that "possibilities" can grow, whether they want to bloom or rot it's up to them. In this case, that one random lady choose to grow up more. She how she even offer them some bread even though she's also malnourished?

I think this chapter (especially) is like a "call out" to society too. Nowadays, most people reject knowledge and become anti-intellectualism. If you guys are familiar with "pyramid of capitalism" of the pyramid has "religion" aspect in them. Means that it's "easy" to "sold" some misconception idealism if you "sell" it and bring "religion" into the scheme (most of the time it's just some cult and fanaticism towards their leader) and gain something from their "religious" followers.

Yanzi, on the other hand is so scientific-based person, he's a medical student, that's why when he encounters something like A LITERAL GOD in front of him, he still try to think "rationally" (which impressive for me), it's like he knows the existence of God exists but it's not like automatically annulled the existence of science or his knowledge based on something that can scientifically proven. He knows those things can walk side by side. Despite the fact that he has a high IQ, he also has a high EQ and SQ.

I read it in some (legit) religions, they encouraged their followers to read and seek for knowledge so they can gain wisdom and understanding. Some people seek "instant" thing cause of their survival instinct, BUT there's also some other people out there that want to change and seek for knowledge so that they can CHANGE not only them, but the people around them.
