I agree the phone is not the best situation, but the timing is fitting. Red head deliberately said that to create a deeper bond despite the distance, because he's afraid the other is going to have a rough time and he won't be there for him. He reassured him firsthand and asked for communication later on, no matter of what will happen. I think it was sweet and thoughtful
OVER THE PHONE?! It's so random what TT he was making a big deal about it for so long ahhhh even if it's over the phone I wish there was more emotion/emphasis behind it. It just kind of happened :( ah well we've only seen one side confession im depending on the reciprocal!
