I’m crying, for what reason was the incest necessary?

I gave it a chance to redeem itself after I read “my brother, my longtime crush got married”, and thought, “maybe it just means that his brother AND his longtime crush got married, right?” but NOOOOO, it just HAD to be incest. Smh.
