Yeah but he just isn't ready ro except it and thinks that this way he'll stay forever bc. most relationships have a risk higher of a break up than normal friendships(even tho i expirenced more breakups in relationships)

but like even if theyre not dating in name theyre still dating in practice so if a big argument happens or they split up it would be the exact same thing as breaking up so this logic dont really make much sense
