Y’all always complain about this type of female lead. “We want a strong FL, not a clueless, helpless one.” But when we finally get a strong, capable heroine—one who happens to embrace her femininity—I rarely see anyone acknowledging that strength.

Now, I’m not saying the typical "strong female lead" isn’t feminine at all—femininity is more than just a set of stereotypes. But that brings me to a bigger question: why are certain traits often seen as weak or undesirable just because they align with traditional femininity? Why is emotional intelligence, grace, or even vulnerability sometimes dismissed when it can be just as powerful as brute strength? Just like Tohru from Fruist Basket and Orihime from Bleach.

People have been so used by modern media portray a strong female lead (think of marvel leads) that an fl who is feminine who has other strengths is still called weak and a pick me (again think of tohru or maybe cinderella)
