Second time rereading done. There are so many foreshadowing and plots i discovered after reading for second time Omg Im crying Im sobbing. Also I was able to confirm that he became completely blind at chapter 28 (not entirely actually, he could see faintly under bright light and objects close to his eyes). In that chapter, he felt down because he lost his eyesight on that day and went to Jean and hugged him for emotional support however, he wasn’t able to tell him why. My Babyyyy My Shalaa I felt so sorry for him. He’s so well written. A selfless character masking selfishness to sacrifice himself UGH PLS My heart…
I let this marinate for too long and finally I was able to read this in one go—— THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM Im so proud of my past self for controlling herself not touching a chapter because digesting it continuously helps me better remember the previous chapters coz OMG WHEN HE REVEALED HE IS BLIND, I got the whole flashbacks of him actually acting like a blind person in all past chapters. The first scene that comes to my mind was him holding his new bed partner is not because to make Jane jealous but because he needs support walking in a place he normally doesn’t go. And second one that broke my heart was at Jane’s engagement ceremony, he doesn’t respond to Jane until he hears his voice. Same happened at earlier mask party, he only noticed Jane after he spoke or his touch. MY SHALAA
The crown prince is my favorite genre of character, needless to say, like a someone who doesn’t give a fck about his image, never outright speak about his underlying good intentions. Letting anybody speak any rumors about him because his good deeds is between him and the truth. His presence’s like a dangerous drug, can make people addicted to him, miss him when he’s not around. Ugh He lives life like he had already repeatedly died thousands times before. Always calculated as if he’s writing storylines for everyone. Like he’s the author and decides who and when and what will happen. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. My new kin :”
