I hate that I have to agree with you. I thought after chapter 48, they would finally be able to talk things out properly, but no.
The author immediately shifted focus to the main couple. I wish they had dedicated just one chapter to fully resolving their conflict, but I guess a side couple can’t take up too much screen time. And after more than a month, they finally appeared again.
I’m glad Jian isn’t using drugs anymore, but his insomnia is a real issue that needs to be addressed. I can’t completely blame him, he’s recovering but Jin… what’s with that attitude? That irritated, almost disdainful look, where did it come from? Is this still the same person who smiled just because Jian lightly touched his lips? The one who affectionately told Jian, “Still the same as ever”? Jian is just sleep-deprived and trying to find a solution, he’s not doing anything to deserve that reaction. If you find Jian annoying why you even come here?
Jin is even more unpredictable and inconsistent than Jian. I wish he would show his feelings more because, honestly, I still don’t see any real sign that he likes Jian. I know the author said Jin doesn’t truly love Jian, he just obsessed, but even so, does he have to be this cold? I just hope that next time, we’ll see some real progress between them. At least one romance scene or something so we can see their as couple
I gotta say, I don't enjoy the unending drama between the second couple. No development or improvement since day 1. In fact, their relationship became worse. The sexual tension was dangled too long so it lost it's appeal in my eyes. They had so much potential.
