Josh is already down bad for Chase and yes, Chase will fall in love with Josh without knowing anything about the mark or Pete. He will get depressed after hearing that Pete wants to spend his life with Pete's mother in a random conversation with Isaac and then confess to Josh with tears to not leave him...as he is desperately in love with Josh.

Or the latter? Chase will remember then they will grow fond of each other?
