Since war between other tribes are common, Lang ya becomes chief of the tribe, and mc becomes the spouse of the chief.
And Lang Ya already knew that mc was a man and will never turn into a woman at some point. He tells mc that it's doesn't matter if mc is a boy or a girl, mc is still his wife.
