I think it was the grandfather who took his grandson. The father must not even know he has a daughter.
I can explain a bit, so I haven't read the full novel yet but from what I read from the novel the ML got the kid from surrogacy. I don't know how much ML's grandpa is involved in the surrogacy, but apparently it was arranged by the previous house keeper.
So we don't know what exactly happened yet .. but basically for now he took the boy from his mom okay his son but !! He took him from her and from his sister.. and now he's saying the child needs a mother so he's marrying some bitch who's planning to kill the son and it's not like the child likes her even and it's not like he's planning to look for the real mom .. well for now it's nerves wrecking
