I feel like it's just to copy the king. Having a blonde boy with green eyes is like having a regas. Which might make them feel like their the actual person in power
Nope , it's more like their got a revelation about how the king regas look like so they want to get him before the king
Taking into account that every king had their regas and they used them to control the king... But I do not get the blonde hair/green eyes either.
Though, if we speak about which characters were like that, only the old king and this evil character enjoy those kind of regas.
