Along with the F****t and until recent queer, they were used as standins to reference gay and bisexual men. This is why it’s so infuriating when people say they can’t be homophobic by reading BL, but proceed to say shit like this. You do nothing but objectify queer experiences for your entertainment but have no knowledge or care in how this fictional display of queer identities is nothing but caricature.
