Hmm I think maybe bc he isn’t a shitty person? Not even trying to be rude btw. His only flaw in the rs w fl was indifference and dishonesty, other than that, he treated her pretty well throughout their whole relationship, no abusive comment, no cheating, was caring (while not completely genuine still caring) etc. while the mls ex was neglecting, emotionally manipulating, verbally abusing ml. That doesn’t mean the female leads ex isn’t bad but it’s just really a different comparison on different levels.
