Yeah and the verbal confrontation he has with Yuder are interesting too. Their beliefs clash and even though you're on Yuder side, you can see the point on Nahan side : he's not right, but you can see WHY he thinks like that. And make you wonder how much influence the sage has/had on him as the story progress (wich you know at the end).
Unpopular opinion : I think Nahan is a great antagonist
