People are so used to the dramatic revenge and simping trope. This story makes sense for the characters since theyre actual sensible adults.

Uke isnt into the big dramatics. He just wants to be validated and reassured, and even understands that he had been too much of a doormat which will change.

The seme actually acknowledges his mistake after he realizes the uke is actually serious and takes appropriate actions to regain the ukes trust in a way he knows the uke is comfortable with.

Like with the whole business deal, the seme could have rejected it but that would also affect his employees and the uke understands that, and the thought actually counted in this scenario.
