Most people in the kingdom is terrified of the king and seem to know he has a violent temper - our boy was just blinded by childhood memories and didn't see how the king actually was.
Until he gets out of the kingdom, he can't trust anyone.
I mean we had a feeling after that dream but honestly, I fell for that old man. I thought he was truly trying to help him.
