i dont know about the original story but Ralph seemed lowkey off to me from the start. but you’re probably right, most authors try to paint black n white characters so you can like or hate them

It's painfully obvious how the Author made Ralph like that JUST now to justify the cheating on him, worse considering Chris was in love and waiting for him and suddenly goes to willingly cheat . Even more if we go by the original story..
