Which connections?
Cain -> Ken
Agio -> Agia
Ver -> Ver
In the past Cain adopted Ver on behalf of him and Agio so they are technically his parents (even though Ver likes Cain a little more than that)
To my understanding, something happened which caused Cain to die which caused Agio to curse Aman which is the curse the church wants them to lift by fulfilling the prophecy.
The church has been lying about the way to lift the curse and Cain is now with Ken to tell him how they can fulfil the prophecy correctly.
Both Ken and Agia have hidden agendas though so we don’t know if they’re actually planning to fulfil this prophecy or not but what has been told to us is that they don’t want to.
