I'm enjoying the explanation of his revenge from his perspective. it's not just some story it is his life long trauma that he lives with so terribly he doesn't care to die to take down those who hurt his mother. but despite his rough exterior we see he really is an inexperienced young man. and it feels a little real? I've read a lot like this but they tend to feel very cookie cutter plot. there's something about this one. I like. maybe her drunk rambling moment was great to push the story further.
