True and he likes to act clueless while he knows what’s bothering Karlyle. I mean I noticed when Lyle started to searching for a house and Ash was like „who’s giving you this ideas ah nevermind I’ll help you with the search“. He could literally directly tell him stay don’t listen to whoever gave you a wrong idea
Omg literally my frustrations with this bl Lyle has grown so much as a character overcoming alot of internal and external harships. But Ash ughhh yes he's not a black or red flag but I can't seem to like him......and after all that they have been through you'd think their relationship would have more stability (especially considering their last breakup was due to not communicating properly).....I just don't understand why Ash is still keeping secrets from his partner? It's so soo unfair for lyle to find these things by accidentally overhearing them from others. It's so disrespectful to him. It's super frustrating how Ash is at times like they have been together long enough to have had these discussions...Ash had all the time in the world to give lyle a heads up about his past relationships but ughhhh nope bro acts so dumb sometimes....I legit only finished this story for Lyle (he deserves the world) (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I liked this story in general. It's very romantic and the pace is nice. But, Ashley is so damn confusing and frustrating. I never really liked him and a tried hard because he seemed liked a green flag, a green forest. In a way he is but for someone so into verbal and physical manifestation of love and care, how can he still make Karlyle feel so damn lonely, insecure and sad??? Sometimes it's not his fault, ok. And I get it's difficult to read Lyle's face and emotions. But Karlyle's made a big progress in letting him know his thoughts. I just feel Ashley's being the same as ever. But overall it's nice.
