Personally for me Lisbeth is much worse. We know Lister. He's pretty easy to understand as far as things go. Easy to hate too. But Lisbeth? She's just a downright loathsome character. I hate her holier than thou personality. She acts like she's doing the best thing for everyone and it grates on my nerves. She's just disgusting especially knowing all the shit that happened and IS happening. She's more the monster than her brother.
Oh I think Lisbeth is a megabitch but her saving grace is that she felt guilty enough to take Slan under her wing to prevent him from going to someone worse + she did "try" to protect him from her brother.
As much as I hate that she kept Listers secret as well as not pushing back enough; I'm going to give her some leeway because that is her only brother and she clearly cares for him. I believe she was forced into a corner and did what she thought was best to appease everyone.
Obviously we know that only ended up hurting Slan in the long run but it's still hard for me to paint her as a villian when she has such a weak constitution, so imo she's more of a coward. Compared to Lister who does everything intentionally and has no regrets.

FUCK LISTER AND FUCK LISBETH.
Moreso Lister because that guy's sole purpose is to just humiliate and belittle Slan. It's crazy because he clearly has feelings for Slan but let's his dumbass inferiority complex keep him from being a decent person. I'm barely halfway through the novel but his actions and the abuse Slan suffers(even the shit he doesn't remember) makes me wanna puke.
I hope the author doesn't let me down so I can see everyone who harmed Slan meet a painful end.
