I made a comment that has a spoiler tag, down below- that tells the sequence of events/stories in chronological order. The black haired top is the friend of the black haired bottom in Tokyo in April.
This seems like the order of what the author created the story’s in:
1. Tokyo in April:
(Ren/Uke and Kazuma/top’s story)
2. Tokyo Shiki
(Hiromichi/Uke and Yagami/Seme ’s story)
Yagami is the friend of ren, and this is his story.
3. Tokyo Rinkaiten or Tokyo: The Critical Point (Saotome/Uke and Jinguuji/Seme’s story)
Saotome is the brother of ren from the first story.

It’s confusing because the way the chapters are thrown together is all over the place. Some of the chapters are happening around the same time the others are. Tokyo Shiki seems to be a compilation of short chapters of all 3 couples. The author made an odd choice to throw in the first couple’s extra stories and introduction of the third couple into this one. But technically it should mainly focus on hiromichi and yagami.
I'm going insane as someone who is not good with names and need to focus on their looks to know who is who this is a living hell black haired guys look the same (I thought the one with the glasses story is them grown up so I was so confused as not to why he ain't tgt with the one with the mole anymore )
