Agreed. I actually liked the ending chapters and I liked the pope guy but his character development felt rushed and the journey of the entire story was such a drag. Had potential but felt flat
Honestly, I just read the first few chapters and skipped to the end to see if it gets better..
It had good premise, but the storytelling and character design are just too.... simple. Not in a minimal kind of way, but unrealistically and boringly simple kind of way.
It was weird how she could get away with creating fake, outrageous, and groundless rumours about a soon-to-be crown princess??? Nah man, she'd have been in a trial with how tactless this was. It's been one tactless and childish stunt one after another, and it took her what? 30/40/50 chapters idk to get out of the palace? Why??? She's a duke's daughter and former crown princess for god's sake????
