This is my favorite part of the story—the moment they all learn the truth and regret the torment they subjected Erna to. Not that their regret could undo it. All those who mocked her are now too ashamed to meet her gaze. Honestly, they don’t deserve Erna. The people, the nobles, the royal family—heck, not even Bjorn deserves her. Though he would soon prove himself worthy of her love, at this moment, she would have been better off back in her hometown. Though I must say, I’m excited to see how they’ll depict Louise’s reaction to the truth, especially since, out of the entire royal family, she’s the one who has been the most relentless in going after Erna.
