Team leader (TL) and Jinha's blonde ex could have been a good 2nd couple, but this is completed. The TL isn't as good of a person as most people think. He said he wanted to be friends with Hwane, but when Hwane was hurting and vulnerable, he jumped at the chance to sleep with him. Then he only blamed Hwane for hurting him when it's both their choice and fault. He knew that Hwane doesn't love him and that he just broke up with the person he loves. Thankfully, they both came to their senses. Hwane deciding to sleep with his boss, who had confessed to him before and is currently his friend, is stupid.

People who claim to love someone but sleep with another to "forget" or use them as substitutes don't make sense to me. It makes one question the depth of their "love" instead.

As for Jinha, it seems he pretended nothing happened to him and the blonde ex/situationship, so it's good that he apologized to him. He was also stupid in the past for getting a gf and saying he doesn't know that hyung (Hwane). No wonder Hwane's so traumatized. But I also understand he's young and has internalized homophobia. The blonde ex took his anger out on Hwane, which is wrong. Everyone is flawed, but the blonde ex is the most wronged here, and in the end, he supported (begrudgingly) Hwane and Jinha's reconciliation. I think he's the most likeable character. He even made a special drink for JH and kept those cards thing. He deserves someone who loves him as much. I wish he met the TL and they became a second couple, although I still don't fully trust the TL.

I've read this manhwa before but saw it on twitter, so I did a reread. The cover art is beautiful, I wish the whole manhwa looked like that.

I agree. All of the characters are flawed, especially the TL. However, while he did accept Hwane’s impulsive invitation, he knew that Hwane was only using him as a rebound. TL knew if he took the risk and had gone through with this mistake, their relationship would be practically irreparable after. Hurt people hurt people. Everybody would lose. And that’s what he points out after Hwane sobers up, that was pretty cool of him.

And.. I kind of like that he took the risk..
Hear me out. It adds a layer to his character while being consistent with his personality. It shows how far he would go and how desperate he is. Would he turn down Hwane’s offer after pining and chasing after him for so long? Based on his past actions, I would think not. HOWEVER, I am DEFINITELY not justifying him taking advantage of the Hwane’s state. He was being manipulative, he was being stupid. Side note: I thought it was obvious that when he said he wanted to be friends it was just a way for him to get closer to Hwane. But, I am biased towards him. I lovveee desperate characters :) they’re so interesting

Anyway, all the blame shouldn’t be put onto the TL. BOTH of them were being stupid. Hwane was being stupid! But I think this interaction emphasizes how much Hwane loves Jinha. He was an asshole in the past, and although it was barely mentioned, Hwane would use sex, use PEOPLE, to escape. However, this time, he can’t do the same. He keeps thinking about Jinha, and even though he tries to keep up a cold front, “you won’t see me cry,” he cries, breaking down. They’re both so stupid I love it!! Although we don’t get to see if Hwane grows after this, im assuming that he does.

In conclusion, Ina is my favorite character. Thank you for your analysis, I love it when people put in the time and effort to actually think about the characters, and it was a lot of fun talking about everything :)
