did u maybe think that maybe we do support the author. i have bought most of the official chapters .not all of them because i cant afford to. also about this website. a lot of the comics here are not even available in english. even if we pay we wont get english translations.
and even with official english translation a lot of people cannot afford it which does not mean that they do not respect the creator. a lot of anime and manga become popular thanks to piracy otherwise people would not even know them and from that popularity they get to make money through merch and other means.
most ppl arent here to disrespect the author instead its the opposite.
the distribution of manga/manhwa/manhua is also not standardized and there is no good platform that u can actually find all of them for a good price. i know that because i have actually tried a lot of these platforms and their pricing model is not customer friendly and nor their catalogue. the industry needs to figure out how to market these comics and get it to the reader and a good revenue model.
regardless piracy platforms atm do do more help than loss because this is how people discover the authors works and later support them. if not for mangago i would have not even gone to the official platform.

I personally go and support authors off this site when money allows, even if the book isn’t written in a language I can’t understand, simply bec I like their work. I know that others who also do this exist and wasn’t talking to them?
If you want my opinion on people who do in fact respect the author and still hate on others for disrespecting the author via having an opinion, It’s obvious; People have opinions and they are ok to have them. Leaving a review of their opinions is normal, sending them hate for an opinion is trashy but it’s even more trashy if it’s hypocritical like my original comment mentioned.

Some people complaining about how rude others are for having their opinions on a story, calling them rude. Is you actually respect the author that much why are you on this website and not supporting them on their actual page? Like you realise this website is by technicality taking their creative work people should pay for and passing it around for free? Lollll
