That part Yeowoon asked "Do you like me?" To which Jigu replied "Yes, I do." And Yeowoon followed it up with something along the lines of "Do you wanna date me?" Jigu said "No"
I wasn’t asking anything. i was just saying I didn’t like the way the confession went. but either way it was a love confession, jigu told him he liked him directly
im guessing we read different translations, this didnt happen for me. Yeonwoo never asked jigu that and jigu never said no.

It makes sense to me but that's bc me and my husband never officially confessed or dated either and we have been together almost 9 years now (known each other for 17). Hell we just never confessed at all, no 'gasp he said i love you for the first time'. There was no 'do you like me?' 'Would you go out with me?'
But I guess this is a story not real life so it seems weird for it to be so casual and not to have an explicit confession from both characters. I'm sure it seems unsatisfactory and unequal in terms of affection between them.
it’s really just preference! It’s sweet that you both didn’t need a direct confirmation and you just knew you liked eachother.
i did enjoy the confession in the story, it was very fitting for the characters, it wasn’t totally the worse I was just a little bit thrown off that they never got around to saying it mutually at the start before they started kissing rather than the end. they have many chemistry filled moments in between that with other dialogue i just wanted the feelings part to be first on the list rather than the physical stuff even though it’s obvious they like eachother.
but that’s just me being picky, i enjoyed it and i think others will too!
is it only me who doesn’t like how the confession went or how they “got” together? like there technically wasn’t a second confesión. don’t get me wrong I still love the story and the characters VERY CUTE just one small dislike i guess
jigu said he liked him and yeonwoo said he’d think abt it. and from there they never did anything they just didn’t talk abt it and stayed around eachother and him liking him just became the norm? And then they started kissing and the other stuff without any verbal confirmation till the end DOES THAT MAKE SENSE. even in the novel jigj said he stopped being so nervous cause it had been so long
