Pleeeease Don't try to attribute/ disregard reasonable opinions because of misogyny I'll be the first one to call out sexism but ppl saying that maxi is naive to go into war based on jealousy/worry when she has no fighting skills and cannot protect herself is far from misogynistic. If she's gonna grow she will but as of right now she's not ready to go into war. That's a logical observation. Riftan has nothing to do with that

I don't get your arguments of her not being ready to go to war? Is she in the army? Is she fighting monsters? No! She is in a party who help the injured and prepare food with other women who also don't know how to fight. I would argue that she is more capable than the other women who are there. And also do you think the soldiers were all "Ready" when they went to war? Of course Not. No one, no matter how trained they are, would never be ready for war the first time they participate. If Maxi was a man and in this situation I'm sure no one had a problem and even would praise him. There are many stories out there that have this plot and I don't see comments calling out the men saying they are not ready.

Who is talking about a man?? I'm talking about someone who is not experienced in fighting deciding to go out into war knowing that they cannot defend themselves. It has nothing to do with maxi being a woman and everything to do w her not being experienced enough and putting herself in danger. U seem to want to think that everybody who does not approve of her choice to follow her husband on his expedition despite the fact that she cannot fight and doesn't know enough magic to defend herself. The soldiers were ready - they're soldiers/ knights. Literally what they are trained for. The princess goes off on this expeditions always I got no issue w that BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING. maxi just barely grasped healing magic and set out after riftan . Like I give a shit that she's a woman. I dislike storylines where the main character puts themselves in danger ON PURPOSE which maxi did. U wanna assume that I don't want maxi in danger because she's a widdle girl not built for battle but , the only reason u can is because maxis a girl but if she were a dude I'd still be annoyed bc the ppl are fighting actual monsters and our main character just learned how to heal a wound. I don't wanna watch them get hurt or in danger and have to be saved again and again and again. It's a repetitive trope
Low-key misogyny in the comments just because you're simping for the male lead. Like she's the main character of this. Of course she's gonna go through arcs. Y'all cry for strong and complex female characters but you can't even handle Maximilian.
