This, all of it. I'm so tired of "You say no but your body says otherwise so you must secretly want it" trope.
Especially that in irl even if someone wants it badly but says "NO" it should be enough for the sexual partner to back off and stop.
I get it, it's fiction, but I know the author wants for the two of them to end up together in happy relationship, and it's just not the way.

Yes. I wouldn't consider myself as woke or anything. I learnt a few things after watching documentaries and true crime podcasts with experts in it. I cannot tolerate this trope because one of the reason why SA victim fell into depression was because they too think they're the cause of it since their body reacted. It took victims a long time to accept that it is normal bodily functions and is not something within their control. It doesn't have anything to do with them getting SAed.
MC was clearly depressed and ML forcing him with all that sexual relationship were part of the triggers. This hit too close to home and I don't understand what the author can gain by making this kind of storyline. Is it for educational purpose? I doubt that. If it's for the plot to move forward then I would question the author's motive to bring in such a huge trigger for SA cases. There were so many ways to play out their story. This ain't it.
Author need to stop using "your body is reacting so this means you're liking it eventhough you say the opposite". I totally get it, it's fictional. I have read so many red flags seme for years. But it seriously triggered me so much when this is being done since you can't control how your bodily reactions based on external/internal stimuli. Saying this is just shifting all the blame to the victim. I draw the line when reading fictional story about rape when uke clearly is not having it (not the kind when they have mutual affection or good relationship) and said NO many times, seme still thinking he wanted it based on his body's reaction. Like????? Honestly how tf this bastard dude gonna have a comeback because the minute they put this into the plot, there's no turning back showing what a scummy and shitty ML he is.
The only way for this to turn out for a better ending is for ML to grovel and give up his entire life and existence for MC to make up for it. I seriously don't understand why author want to drag his character to this length.
