honestly i dropped this a while back, not due to maxi (I loved her) but bcs of riftan. i remember reading so many bitchy comments about maxi back then too. the thing is, people can never digest soft/naive female characters. they forget that a strong fl can be strong in ways other than physically. even in yona of the dawn, people bitched about yona so much until she went through some experiences and got stronger. its like, god forbid a female character makes mistakes, learns from them and then grows instead of starting out as this op character. weird ass behaviour u just gotta ignore it :/
honestly I am surprise with all your reactions of looking down at Maxi for wanting to help others. Like is it wrong to not help others, can only the strong help and care during war, what is with all this negativity. You aren’t only insulting Maxi but you are also insulting all the other women who are trying their best to help the injured. Yes, it might not be a lot but atleast it’s better than doing nothing and wallowing at the castle. You are also dismissing the fact that she also doesn’t like the feeling of doing nothing at home silently waiting while Riftan is fight for his life out there at war :(. Like can you all stop being so mysogistic and calling Maxi dumb for her efforts of trying to help and be strong in her own way. Be proud that she is trying to find strength in helping others and enduring the difficulties with other women who are also trying their best to stay strong through caring for the injured men and women in their area
