A happy dark spirit? (⊙…⊙ )
Why is that surprising? Where is the rule that a dark spirit can't be happy? Besides he's a spirit of darkness like the dark, you can't see anything dark, you close your eyes dark, shadows dark, etc. Like the darkness is nothing to be afraid of you only fear the unknown as you can't see the dangers the use the dark to hide. The darkness itself isn't bad so that spirit must just be hiding, lonely, or maybe he suffered trauma, idk. But everyone deserves to be happy.

Ok I have to agree with you there. Most manga portrays them as evil, or nice but suffering. If there is one that's happy I can't think of it right now but when I do find one that's good I'll share a link

I want bro to relax more at the bottom of that lake and just be an observer. I also want him to interact more with other spirits, especially that dark spirit kid. The kid looks depressed and lonely so I think hanging with Nagi would make him happy as well as allow Nagi more spirit interactions. Like maybe he moves in with Nagi, like they do say it's dark at the bottom of ocean so it must be dark the bottom of the lake. Maybe the dark spirit kid can make a contract with Helio(or whatever that dark elf kid's name is).
