there's also the fact she lived as a commoner before, and commoners who had that sort of knowledge are typically impressive for the fact that school is extremely difficult or impossible for them to go to in 99% of historical manhwas
My gal even commoners can know basic math, you can't expect them to be able to sell their products without it. And plus she is 7, there's tons of kids around the world that age who knows multiplication table. Maybe it can be considered someone with potential since she wrote 18 times table (even tho she is a grown ass woman inside so it's not shocking but let's say she is a kid for the others). But it cannot be something "special". The adults' expressions especially is so out of reality. They act like as if she solved a trigonometry, integral or something.
+plus We can't assume their math knowledge is bad either bcs those castles needs measurements and calculations. They all have construction plans. Bcs without a plan you cannot build something like that. And plus i had to check so that i can correct myself, there is evidence that the multiplication table was used even before Christ. multiplication tables may be 'easy' for us but again I need to remind you that 7 year olds may know some multiplication, but typically they don't have the table fully memorized?? even most teenagers I've met don't just have a memorized times table. if the author wants to write THEIR NOVEL . in a way that it calls the kid a genius, I don't see how that's a problem??

You probably had some difficulty learning or a bad teacher, because basic numbers, addition, subtraction, and similar concepts are taught to students in first grade.
