no i know, i read bj alex too and i liked it a lot. but this is just a lot darker and ml has been so consistently awful that it makes it hard to anticipate them becoming romantically involved. like, i just hope he goes through an insane amount of shit to have a genuine change of heart and begs ml for forgiveness, you know? given how awful he’s been.
i don’t read this anymore, i dropped it pretty early on and came back to check on it, surely thinking after 60+ chapters things might’ve changed but the ml is still a garbage excuse for a human being. at the very least the mc has learned to stand up for himself but i refuse to believe that we’re eventually supposed to get a genuine romantic development between the two. like. given the state of the plot and how awful the ml is, i would be happier to see the mc leave and move on to pursue a better life and romantic partner. i mean, there is a point with these things and to each their own, but i can’t really root for a romance where it’s been 60 chapters and the ml is still a fucking dick and has shown no signs of empathy and improvement in his character. micro expressions and momentary gestures don’t count. throw the whole man away.
