No because I absolutely agree with you. I love this story and how it’s unfolding. I love the innocence Byul has (which, tbf, is also the same kind of innocence his mother had if we take out the heat and rut out of his story) and I especially love how Siwoo, despite refusing to show it, genuinely cares for Byul. I don’t want it to be fast paced because then we wouldn’t be able to really enjoy all of the little details like them studying or Siwoo’s struggle to not have his feelings be known (baby, we sees you, we knows you). I feel as though a fast paced writing that jumps right into smut (if the author decides to follow up the same route as her other stories with this one) would absolutely destroy this story and make it feel very monotone. I actually love how it’s going at this point, am not bored but instead very intrigued to see the story unfold and would not even mind if it remained shōnen-ai because it really doesn’t need the smut at all—it’s entertaining all on its own as it is.
Im enjoying this fresh, innocent plot that others might find bland. I can appreciate the art more and I feel like you might just be waiting for some development so soon?
As I can see, it’s not just about how they build their relationship. Since we know the parents, we might be feeling so eager to find more.
And maybe because I can see them still as a baby that I dont really see anything boring at all. In fact Im happy to see how they are still having a hard time despite having a loving family and having that wealth, showing us that we individually own struggles in life.
Also glad that it has no r18 scenes. I wanna keep the fluff and slowly absorb Byul’s story. If ever there might be mature scenes in the future when they grow up or not, is not a big deal ‘cause we are really lucky to get to see Byul’s story unfold.
