Exactly. He wasn’t lusting after a child. In fact he went out of his way to put distance between them once he realised Seungjoo was getting romantically attached. He tried to bury any feelings he had for him but fate had other ideas. I’m really liking this opportunity to see things from Muheun’s perspective. It’s clearing up a lot of those issues people are complaining about.
Reading problem they are not reading it clearly many of these have no idea what's going in story but their mind can only catch on creepy side of story that don't even exist in the first place ( seme clearly said he didn't like uke in that way he was overprotective of him since he born cuz he lost siblings who are seme's friends too) seme never lusting after uke

some people are not understanding it. i thought it was explained properly though. muheon's attachment on seungjoo when he was a child is only because he saw their fate is intertwined. even he didn't put much mind to it back then and just thought he's protective of him because what happened to his bestfriend, might happen again. too much that it became toxic, that's why he kept years of distance. drowned himself in work. and that caused him to push and pull. he pretty much only started having romantic feelings for sj later. looking at his face in the last panel made it clearer
