True; whenever someone compliments you, you’d think they aren’t sincere at all
Yeah, and since you don't want to think bad about them you'll feel sorry and annoyed at yourself. Which make us, humans, more complicated. And most of the readers doesn't appreciate the relativity od the characters in real life daily basis
I can relate to FL; I mean growing up with people who did nothing but discourage and mock, whatever good and nice words other kind people says would feel like they're lying and just being nice; like you wouldn't see yourself a little pretty once.
