yesterday i saw this post ab how younger siblings end up feeling the most pressure in order to be like their elder siblings who have achieved great things and i think that is exactly fl here... anyway i have a feeling that even her brother knows about her overdoing it and not enjoying herself like usual students but the mom just felt completely unaware up until the end where she just mentioned the whole "o you never tell me about how school is/your friends etc" ... like man just in the first chapter you started going on and on ab how your son's absence made you feel lonely... you have your daughter at home??? maybe if parents actually tried to build positive and healthy relationships with their children. but o well

also just to be clear i dont even mind the whole thing that ml performs better than her and has a decent social life too NOT EVERYONE CAN JUGGLE MULTIPLE ASPECTS OF LIFE AND DO WELL IN THEM ALL and as much as i am aware that this is fiction i still end up feeling horrible for characters who have to go through shit like this because i would lose my mind and scream so fast. i just feel bad that no one around fl could actually understand how she was harming herself and not just "studying so i could score higher",,, and i kinda wished they worked on that more instead of focusing on ml and fl's relationship BUT ALSO I KNOW ITS STUPID TO EXPECT THAT FROM A MANGA THAT JUST HAS 8 CHAPTERS . anyway in my mind im going to imagine she ends up realising her true passion and makes close friends and eventually gives up on wanting to beat ml but i also secretly wish her realising her true interest ends up making her genuinely beat him but at that point shes satisfied and happy with herself and her grades
