I don’t think she is gonna die. Hear me out. I think he indeed went back to the past (in their first life) but he was waaay more mature than she is, so I think that he’s memories will be from the second life (a complete life) and then he will go back to conquering her fully knowing he’s gonna die. But there must be a reason for why he 1) lets himself die, 2) doesn’t tell her anything. Anyways, I think we are safe.
