I don't think people are overhyping Dan's actions. Okay, he's responsible for his feelings for Jaekyung despite the man being a jerk, but we're also celebrating because he's giving back what Jaekyung did to him as a sex partner. Back then, he paid him as a SEX PARTNER for his jinx, so he should have the decency to treat him as a person and not just a toy he can discard.
