I believe he honors what the princess mentioned in fear during the first night. Princess believed that their conjugal night will be after a month but his highness went ahead and did it the first night.. princess was not prepared and crown prince was feared after that first night. So I think his highness soothed him for a month, got closer, and let him prepare himself for the scheduled love making.. it seems his efforts paid off~
