Wait truly?? Could I get some more spoilers? I saw from someone saying he stayed behind in the dungeon does that mean he's already dead or he's gonna die once they face the great dungeon again?

basically mc's memory is false: the message from the dungeon is that there are two options—either those who posses gaia skills enter and try to clear it (no time limit) but if they fail, the dungeon explodes and so all the monster get out into the real world, or they choose to destroy the dungeon but it reappears in 10 years. kangjin basically has a skill that can alter memories (this was his second time using it, so here's a hint of another memory being false), so the mc doesn't remember that he stayed behind. as the dungeon got destroyed, so did kangjin ☹☹☹

because that was one of the two options, either you destroy it for now but the great dungeon reappears in 10 years (like it's gonna appear now) or you attempt the black portal which only the ones with gaia skills can enter

tbh maybe he could've left, i'm not sure, but he was also tired of fighting and wanted to die, so i think that was the main reason he stayed behind. every survivor became suicidal at some point in the dungeon as the time went on, so i think he didn't even think about trying to escape it ☹☹☹
