While they’re on the run 2nd ML attempted to hide his family so Garon wouldn’t be able to find them and torture/kill them since he was going to become a fugitive, regardless Garon finds 2nd ML’s mother and kills her. Where she was hiding there was a jester and Garon told him to go around every town/city singing about how Garon killed 2nd ML mother hoping that he would hear the song and come back. While MC & Raon were on the run the MC happens to hear the song and does his best for Raon not to hear it since with the context he found out ML killed his mother. Garon ends up finding them and they try to escape, they were trying to cross a bridge but it fell apart (I forgot how lol) so MC and 2nd ML were trying to hold on to the brown bridge so they wouldn’t fall in the pit. Garon was going to shoot 2nd ML but as soon as the MC saw what he was going to do he swung his body in front of 2nd ML and he got shot instead, as he was falling into the pit Garon jumped to try and catch him. ML was fading in and out of consciousness while ML was carrying him back to the dragon so they could go back to the palace. MC wakes up and finds out he’s back in the palace, he looked in a mirror and was shocked how his whole chest was full of bandages. ML was feeding, bathing and taking care of him in every way, eventually one of his guards finds a man from the Imae tribe and tell him to repeat the story that the old man told them, the old man saw the MC and said how he pitted him since he wasn’t allowed to have a name but also said how his dad passed away because of the Imae poison that his mom inflicted on him and how the poison kills the person from the inside. The guards thought he was lying but then they thought about how how the ML has been bleeding from his mouth and sometimes would feel his arm paralyzed and started thinking it could be true, ML asked the MC if he knew anything about the Imae poison and whatever he said ML would take his word but MC denied it saying he never heard of such a thing and that his father had died from an illness. Later on ML was going to go to the Imae village and told MC, he asked why and ML told him he was going to destroy it in order to build another kingdom? (I forgot was he was building lol) the MC pleaded with him to not destroy it but ML wouldn’t budge then MC asked him if he would just give him 1 day to go back (he buried his mothers remains there and wanted to move them) MC wouldn’t tell the ML why he didn’t want that place destroyed or why he wanted to go so ML followed his plan and left the palace. While he was away word got around that MC poisoned the emperor and he was going to die since they didn’t know what the cure was, his concubine heard about it and went to go see MC with guards and the great chamberlain. The concubine told him that it was his fault the emperor was poisoned and that he needed to tell her the antidote so the emperor could get better, when the MC said he didn’t know she got angry and told the guards to hold him down while she started cutting him, she tried to cut his horn off but only managed to make a gash and he started to scream in pain since nerves are connected to their horns. By this time ML came back and broke the concubines arm and asked her what she was doing and she said that she was trying to get the antidote to save his life, the emperor smiled and started talking g in a sweet voice saying how she was doing all of that for him, she started to calm down and hugged him arm but before she could even scream she cut her head off. One of the guards tried attacking him but they were all killed, the ML picked up the MC and gave him bath, called the royal physician to heal MC wounds. Baron told the MC that he didn’t blow up the mountain and MC felt happy and finally stayed eating and accepting what the ML was giving him, this wouldn’t last long because 2nd ML comes and invades the palace.
