to be honest, i think it’s slightly deeper than that. mincheol basically pulled at her heart strings to get her back, and it worked, emotionally manipulating her. i’m not saying ari is stuck in a domestic abuse situation, but it mirrors a lot da situations where people ask the victim “why did you tolerate it” or “why didn’t you see the signs?” she’s starting to notice the signs, but she’s young and in love, which is what minshit is taking advantage of. mincheol is only now starting to show his true colours because he’s growing frustrated with how haesoo has continued to not reach out to him. i don’t blame ari at all, i feel bad she’s the victim of minshit’s debauchery( ̄へ ̄)

I get where you’re coming from, but I can’t fully buy Ari as the victim here. Sure, Mincheol’s a manipulative sleaze—no argument there—but Ari’s not exactly clueless. She knew he was married, flaunted it in Hae-soo’s face, and still jumped in headfirst. Young and in love doesn’t erase that she’s actively choosing to roll with his garbage. Mincheol showing his true colors now doesn’t mean she didn’t see the red flags before; she just didn’t care until it started affecting her. I feel for Hae-soo way more—she’s the one who got blindsided, not Ari. (¬_¬)

i also get where you’re coming from, i think i just relate to ari and feel bad for her. in hindsight it’s easy to say mincheols schemes were so obvious and how could she be with him despite knowing he was living with his ex wife. but mincheol made a compelling argument, that haesoo was attached and he had no other means of living. he appealed to her as a pitiful love prospect, as she was already interested in him before she knew about his living conditions. she already had a positive image of him despite us, the viewers not, and she has been swayed before but again, mincheol made a compelling excuse. it probably made her feel good in the moment to “save” mincheol from his poor living conditions, but im sure she’ll soon realize how awful he really is. i just wish i was given as much grace for the mistakes i made while blindly in love, im not even older than ari either, but i still believe she’s quite young, 25 is only a few years out of university/college after all. i will fault her for her gullibility and naivety. and i’ll eat my words if she ever chooses to harass haesoo over mincheol, but i’d get where she’d be coming from. i know ari’s not a girls girl but i feel the need to defend her anyway idk coke rant over
at least the new girl noticed he isnt doing any chores and changes topic when he has to work
